Michelle Thaxton is the Founder and Program Director of MOAP, LLC — a comprehensive Ophthalmic Assistant Training Program based in Detroit, Michigan. With more than 30 years of experience in ophthalmology, Michelle has built a career rooted in excellence, compassion, and a deep commitment to patient care.
As a seasoned ophthalmic assistant and Refractive LASIK Specialist, Michelle has worked alongside leading surgeons, supported thousands of patients, and mastered the clinical and technical skills that define the profession.
